Spirit of Giving

Dr. K Anji Reddy’s Spirit of Giving is a nine-month-long volunteering programme for our employees. It carries forth our founder’s belief that true happiness lies in serving those less fortunate than ourselves. Every year, our people devote their time, talents and energies to make a positive difference to the communities they live in. They promote education among schoolchildren, help to upskill youth, engage in cleanliness drives, raise awareness about preventable diseases and offer aid across a range of other initiatives.

Naandi Foundation

Naandi, founded in November 1998, is one of the largest and fastest-growing social sector organisations in India. It was set up with the idea of creating a professionally run institution with eminent business leaders as trustees. Naandi partners with state governments, corporate houses and development organisations to showcase large-scale delivery of public services. These include elementary education with positive discrimination towards girls, safe drinking water and sanitation, large-scale cooperative farming, end-to-end sustainable agriculture, youth upskilling and employment, safe motherhood and early childhood development, and more.

NICE Foundation

NICE Foundation was registered in 2002 as a charitable trust that works towards saving lives by providing quality healthcare to the most deserving sections of the society. These include new-borns and young children, government schoolchildren, and tribal women and children. NICE has been successfully creating innovative models and partnerships between state governments, corporates and civil society to offer economically viable healthcare to these people. These models serve as guides for provision of comprehensive health services.

Center for Social Initiative and Management

The Center for Social Initiative and Management (CSIM) has been pioneering social entrepreneurship training programmes in India to enhance the quality of delivery in social change agents. It offers a wide range of programmes that advocates the principles and practices of social entrepreneurship, and connects participants to alumni and academics active in developing social enterprises. CSIM alumni continue to make a mark in diverse fields like rural development, education, livelihood, health, water and sanitation and child protection.

Teach for India

Teach for India (TFI) believes that every child must be provided education, and in pursuit of this vision, TFI nurtures young professionals who take up full-time teaching careers in low-income government and private schools. The idea is to transform them into leaders capable of tackling educational inequity. TFI has produced thousands of potential changemakers who are not only making a difference in classrooms but also working on larger development-focused policies to fuel holistic change.

To counter the serious deficit of women in science in India, our Sashakt scholarship programme is enabling young girls from vulnerable classes to take up higher degrees in science.

Our people got together to set up a donation drive that has resulted in a strong plasma reserve available to anyone in need.

Our HCP Programmes

Efficient healthcare delivery is not only about medicines, it requires every element of the healthcare ecosystem to act in concert, keeping the patient at the centre of everything. An important aspect of this ecosystem is effective communication between healthcare providers and patients, empowering the latter to actively manage their conditions.

Dr. Reddy’s Foundation for Health Education was founded with the aim of bridging communication gaps in healthcare. It runs training initiatives to enhance the skills of HCPs as well as awareness programmes to educate corporate professionals about lifestyle disorders. The foundation works towards upskilling all HCPs from nurses and physicians’ assistants to front office staff, retailers, pharmacists and doctors.
