Deepak is the CEO of the Pharmaceutical Services and Active Ingredients (PSAI) business at Dr. Reddy’s. He leads the company’s Covid-19 initiatives.

After graduating from IIM Bangalore, Deepak joined Dr. Reddy’s in 2003. He has worked in various roles across marketing, sales, business development and portfolio divisions, covering most major global markets. He has also worked across business units viz Global Generics, API and Custom Pharma Services, and driven several key collaborations for the company around the world.

Deepak’s education is in engineering and management, and he has received a Fulbright Fellowship and a Chevening Scholarship. He is a prolific writer, and his first book was published in 2018. He also cofounded a charitable trust in Eastern India that works for the disabled. Prior to Dr. Reddy’s, he worked in the Indian Railway Services.
